Yumuşak Yolvericiler (Soft starter) , trifaze akımı asenkron motorlarının optimize şekilde başlatılabildiği ve durdurulabildiği bir elektronik motor kumanda cihazıdır.
Soft starter ile motorun kalkışı ayarlanabilir şekilde ve nispeten daha az akımla gerçekleşmektedir. Bu, kalkış işlemi sırasında
elektronik yumuşak yol verici ile motor gerilimi kumandası nedeniyle, alınan kalkış akımı ve motorda oluşturulan kalkış dönüş momentinin de ayarlanması anlamına gelmektedir.
